Huffington Post

I’m A Porn Star, and It Makes Dating Awkward. I don’t know how many titles this piece has had. I wrote it back in 2015 for xoJane, which then sold it to the Huffington Post, which publishes it every year or so. I can always tell because my email gets flooded with messages from men who’ve read it and want to reassure me they would have no problem going on a date with me.

The 100 Poems In Solitude Project

At the beginning of the pandemic, I started a project, writing a poem a day, using a different poetry form every day, in a effort to document the experience of lockdown and solitude. The pandemic then collapsed into a social justice movement globally, and the complete economic desolation of the country. Like many people, it meant a lot of introspection, bargaining and ultimately surrender. All of this was captured by my poems, which are being prepared for publication. You can read the rough poems, along with having access to my poetry readings, full, uncut episodes of Important Adults, and unreleased video podcasts of ILL REPUTE! on my patreon here.
